I was born in upstate New York, but was an army brat, so lived in 5 different states. I have been in Japan around 6 years, but only in Kansai for less than a year. Please teach me Kansai-ben! Before Kansai, I spent a few years teaching in Hokkaido.

Sorry Chiaki! It's similar to rock climbing, but it's a different sport. In rock climbing, you are going UP. In this activity, you are going DOWN!

You are close! "Rappeling" is actually what I'm doing in the picture, but it's part of a wider activity.
